Glutton's Teeth
Part 2

The PCs made their way from the treasure room on to the Great Temple. There, they discovered several temple guards, 3 Priests of Torog, and several slaves magically held to an enchanted stone that seemed to be drawing strength from the slaves. One slave stood out above the others; a massive, 20’ tall Fomorian named Vae’Don.

The PCs mounted a rescue mission, destroying the servants of Torog and rescuing the prisoners. In return for saving him, Vae’Don broke through one of the walls out into the courtyard of Glutton’s Teeth and helped the PCs escape with several rescued townsfolk.

The fate of the other townsfolk is unknown, though it is likely they are either dead or are being given to Inquisitor Kitharna.

As the PCs fled, they noticed that Inquisitor Kitharna, Indrani, Hierophant Zeramus and Inil-Ilivynda all watched them leave. Their combined forces would be no match for the PCs with Vae’Don’s help, so they could do nothing to stop the escape.

Vae’Don also gave the PCs directions on how to get out of the Howling Warrens. They must travel north, to the Endless Sea. Along its shores they’ll find a small military encampment belonging to the servants of Torog, and there they’ll find a few sailing ships. Steal one and the PCs can traverse the Endless Sea, across which they’ll find the Fungal Groves. Make it through the Fungal Groves and they will find the Crystal Caverns, which is home to the Drow city of Maelbrathyr. Across the Crystal Caverns the PCs will descend under the Dragon’s Teeth Mountains to the Molten Core. From there, they can make their way up beneath the Library of Tem; however, first they must brave the dangers of the Frozen City of Deepreach, a long-lost dwarven stronghold.

Glutton's Teeth
Part 1

The party was attacked and Hrugga was almost captured by the guardian of Glutton’s Teeth; however, the PCs closed the portcullis, severing the beats tentacle and freeing her.

The Party delved through the unholy temple in a specialized skill challenge. Eventually, after slowly moving through the dungeon halls, they reached mess hall were three townsfolk were about to be served up for dinner!

They killed all of the feasters, and rescued Angelo the Chef, Jester and Nurse Annis from a certain and horrific end.

The party continued making their way through the halls of Glutton’s Teeth, and eventually Hrugga came into the temple’s great hall. There, she heard Hierophant Zeramus talking with Inquisitor Kitharna, Priestess Inil’Ilivynda Baenre and Great Old Master Indrani. She learned that Inquisitor Kitharna was still actively searching for the PCs that had escaped Dog’s Rest, and that Hierophant Zeramus was expecting the PCs to make their way to Glutton’s Teeth. Also, they learned that Priestess Inil’Ilivynda Baenre was seeking her Drow son who had been in captivity but escaped recently when the caravan he was transporting had been attacked.

Inquisitor Kitharna was offered half of the Dog’s Rest townsfolk, and so the PCs rushed off to intercept these prisoners before it was too late.

On their way, they discovered a room with an intricately designed door made of gold and gems, worth a fortune. They opened the door and entered, seeing there was a chest inside. The chest was filled with gold and items of magic, but also unleashed a powerful trap. The PCs survived this and continued on their way.

Journey to Glutton's Teeth

The PCs found themselves on top of the wall surrounding Daer Carrow, standing face-to-face with the angry Content Not Found: skalmad, and looking down over a retreating force from Glutton’s Teeth.

Though it seemed that a battle was imminent, Bardryn offered to resurrect Content Not Found: skalmad_ brother, Content Not Found: dumaarg_. Using up the party’s Content Not Found: scroll-of-raise-dead_, they brought _Content Not Found: dumaarg back to life. Content Not Found: skalmad was grateful, and in return, he told them about a back entrance to Glutton’s Teeth. He warned that it was guarded by a sinister monstrosity from the Deeps, and that none had ever made it past the creature.

He also gave the PCs until night to leave his city, with the warning that they would be killed if they returned before they had taken down Glutton’s Teeth.

The PC’s journeyed across the Howling Warrens, seeking to find this back entrance to Glutton’s Teeth. After three days they found this entrance.

The party moved slowly into the dark cave, sending Valag on ahead to scout with his darkvision. Eventually he found the back entrance, and the found the great beast Content Not Found: skalmad had spoken of.

Resembling a pill bug but on a giant scale, the creature was easily 20’ long. It had many long tentacles coming out of its head, which slammed the PCs and crushed them in its grip. However, the PCs managed to make it past the beast and open the iron portcullis that blocked entry into Glutton’s Teeth. This was the end of the adventure.
